Practice a sales call, interview or presentation with ChatGPT Voice Chat

ChatGPT Voice Chat, possibly the most impressive ChatGPT feature yet, is now free to everyone.

Think of it as having a chat with a super smart, non-judgmental friend who's always professional. You can talk out loud, and ChatGPT responds just like a real person.

Let’s imagine you have a job interview coming up and you want to practice all the difficult questions before the real interview. With ChatGPT you can:

  • Upload your job listing for ChatGPT to fully understand the role and ask relevant questions

  • Make ChatGPT simulate a recruiter, asking the difficult questions

  • Get extensive feedback after the call

  • Practice an infinite amount of times

This doesn’t just work for interviews, but you can do it for sales calls, difficult conversations, pitching to investors, etc.

Want to start practicing? Then follow along with the full guide.

5 ways to use ChatGPT with Excel and Google Sheets

ChatGPT is your best friend if you work a lot in Excel and Google Sheets. It will help you be more productive and save a lot of headaches.

Here are 5 ways you can use Excel and Google sheets with ChatGPT:

1. Create instantly a template with working formulas

If you already know what kind of document you need, then you can ask ChatGPT for a template of your sheet with working formulas.

For example, if you need to create a quick overview on sales projections, you can ask for ‘a 2024 sales projections template with working formulas’.

ChatGPT will instantly create a template with working formulas that you can work further upon.

Once you get your output from ChatGPT you can paste it directly into your sheet.

2. Request any complex formula

With ChatGPT you can create any formula, no matter how complex it is, by describing two things:

  1. What you want it to do

  2. What columns/cells it needs to reference

For example, you can ask ChatGPT to ‘create a formula that multiplies the amount of items (in Column A) by their price (in Column B) and then add up these amounts for a total cost’.

ChatGPT would instantly provide a formula like =SUMPRODUCT(A2:A10, B2:B10) that you can directly copy and paste into your sheet.

3. Create a custom script

If you miss a certain functionality in Google Sheets or Excel, you can just create it yourself by using custom scripts.

With custom scripts you can create any kind of functionality that you want. Before ChatGPT you needed programmers or to follow a Youtube tutorial for hours, but now it’s a ChatGPT request way.

For instance, imagine you have a Google Sheet tracking weekly sales data. You can request a script that automatically compiles this data into a neat summary and emails it to you or your team every Friday.

This means you get consistent updates without manually sorting and sending out the data. Huge time-saver.

4. Analyze your screenshot (ChatGPT Plus)

Sometimes typing what you want is… too exhausting.

With ChatGPT Plus you can just send a screenshot of your file and describe what you want. For example:

  1. How can I solve this error?

  2. How can I improve the layout of this sheet?

It’s like ChatGPT looking over your shoulder while you wait till it fixes all your problems.

5. Make ChatGPT do all the work for you (ChatGPT Plus)

If you don’t feel like working in Excel at all you can also upload your file and tell ChatGPT exactly what needs to be done.

You can upload raw data in an excel file, request what you want, and ChatGPT will create everything including the formulas into a file that you can download.

Make sure to always double check, but it works pretty flawlessly.
