Improve your ChatGPT output and mind-blowing AI tools...

Happy Thursday! And happy birthday to ChatGPT, turning 1 year old today. 🎉

We are back with a new format. One that is easier on the eyes and with a lot more value. If you don’t think that is true, then reply to this email with your thoughts—I read everything!

Here’s what you need to know about AI this week:

  • A framework for always getting the right results with ChatGPT

  • Why ChatGPT is a game-changer for data analysis

  • What the future of video for AI looks like

  • And the latest tools, use cases, and awesome bits in a scannable overview.

A ChatGPT framework for consistently good results

You probably have experienced that ChatGPT can sometimes bring you absolute gold, and the next second it’s so bad you want to close the window immediately.

With the RTFC framework that could be a problem from the past.

The RTFC framework helps ChatGPT better understand your request, and refine its playing field to get to better possible outputs. RTFC stands for:

R - Role

T - Task

F - Format

C - Constraints

A complete prompt would look like something like this:

Act like you are a world-class copywriter with 30 years of experience in copywriting. Write me a cold-email to SaaS CEOs for [your product] in plain text between 200 and 300 words.

Contraints:

• Write simple, but not simplistic. The language should be written at a 5th-grade reading level
• Avoid buzzwords and jargon and instead speak plainly.
• Avoid being salesy or overly enthusiastic and instead express calm confidence.

The role task format is a pretty classic framework for prompting, but what makes all the difference is constraints. It's hard to say everything it should do, but it's easier to say things it should not do.

Bring examples

If the RTFC framework still doesn’t do the trick for your ideal output, then show examples. The more the better.

If you show up at the barber it's also easier to show a photo of the haircut that you want than to describe it. For example:

Act like you are a world-class copywriter with 30 years of experience in copywriting. Write a cold-email to SaaS CEOs for [your product] in plain text between 200 and 300 words.

Follow these examples of good emails:

Example 1: [perfect cold email that worked before]

Example 2: [another cold email that crushed it]

And avoid example 3: [poor email that ChatGPT generated before]

Also with examples constraints are effective for ChatGPT to have a better understanding of what you have in mind.

Happy creating!

Analyze and report huge amounts of data in minutes with ChatGPT

Imagine you have the results of a survey in a huge CSV file. You need to analyze this and find correlations and trends within the survey. And to finish things off, you need to turn it into an email and share it with all the stakeholders.

Before ChatGPT, this could easily take up a whole day. But with ChatGPTs code interpreter/data analysis, this can take minutes.

Here’s how you can do the analysis in minutes:

  1. Download your raw data into a CSV file

  2. Upload the CSV file to ChatGPT and prompt: “Please provide a detailed analysis starting from the basic principles, progressing through the answers and outcomes, exploring any correlations, and concluding with a summary of the findings.”

These two steps will result in an extensive analysis of the document. From high-over insights to correlations and connections between answers—even including a visualizing graph.

Now we need to turn all of these insights into an email our stakeholders will understand. You can do this by prompting ChatGPT with:

“Please summarize the analysis in an email to John, our head of brand. Include the key points – basics to outcomes, any interesting correlations, and the main takeaways. Keep it clear and to the point.”

Bada bing bada boom, it’s done. Time for a coffee.
